Graduate Students (석사과정, 석박사과정, 박사과정)

The Hanyang Soft Robotics Lab will likely seek 1-2 exceptionally qualified graduate students from Hanyang or from abroad for the upcoming admissions cycle. Recruiting for graduate students is open for:

 

• Masters course (석사과정)

• Integrated Masters and Ph.D. (석박사과정)

• Ph.D. course (박사과정)

• Students graduating from Hanyang or other universities

• Mechanical Engineering or any other area of Engineering

Recruiting for graduate students is also open for foreign students graduating from Hanyang or from abroad.

• Korean Government Scholarship Program (website). Basic stipend covers Airfare, Tuition and Monthly Allowance of 900k per month, Medical Insurance, Settlement Allowance, Language Training Fee and more.

Undergraduates Students (학사과정)

​

Undergraduate students are welcome to attend the Soft Robotics Laboratory for short projects including summer or winter internships, or for their undergraduate thesis. Please contact Prof. Wei Wang for an inquiry either by e-mail or at his office (Building 206, Room 210, Seoul campus).

Postdoctoral Researchers (박사후연구원)

 

Postdoctoral researcher candidates would be encouraged to apply to the following external fellowships (Potential research projects include the investigation of the creation of novel soft and bioinspired robots, and the development of soft and wearable robots for human assistance tasks. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science or a related field):

• All researchers: Scholarships on campus

  • Annual salary up to 30.0M KRW.

• Foreign researchers: Korea Research Fellowship

  • Monthly salary up to 2.5-5.0M KRW, with private insurance. Airplane fare and moving expenses are covered.

• Domestic researchers: NRF Fellowships (한국연구재단): 학문후속세대양성사업

  • 박사후국내연수: 과제당지원규모 3백만원/년 (연수활동비), 기간: 1년

  • 대통령Post-Doc.펠로우십: 과제당지원규모: 130만원/년 (연수활동비+연구비), 지원기간: 5년 (3+2)
